On the ongoing development of my work as a dancer and choreographer, I have begun to use video as a direct and simple means of communication.
Video has taken an increasingly important role in my work, to the extent that I now use it as a form of personal feedback, with it acting as a kind of “second partner” ; a subtle “second voice” guiding me to listen to deeper feelings not accessible through movement alone.
My interest in Convergence lies in exploring plurality and multiplicity.
That is, the presentation and interplay of various sensory parameters : distinct elements in and of themselves, simultaneously in relation with each other.
